Actress Megan Fox, who once publicly spoke against the director, has teamed up with Bay on the upcoming live action 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' reboot.
Fox, who once compared Bay to Hitler, says she always liked the director despite their differences, reported the Entertainment Weekly.
"He was one of the most lovely people that I dealt with in making this movie. I've always loved Michael. We've had our battles in the past but even when I've been really outspoken about difficulties we've had, I've always followed up by saying that I have a particular affinity to him," she said.
"He can be very vulnerable, and he's very likable and lovable. I've always been very vocal about that as well. But, sometimes we clash because we both have very willful, powerful personalities," she added.
Their fight stemmed from a quote that Fox gave to a magazine in 2009 where she said the director was a nightmare to work with.
After Fox's comments, Steven Spielberg reportedly urged Bay to fire the actress from 'Transformers' movies and Bay followed it by replacing her with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
