While two of them (1 – Nenokkadine, Yevadu) were from Tollywood, the other two(Vijay’s Jilla, Aith’s Veeram) were from Kollywood. Ram Charan claims the top spot for Sankranthi 2014 as his action-thriller ‘Yevadu’ stood as the biggest hit among the four big releases. Even at Kannada Box Office where all these films competed, ‘Yevadu’ remained as a huge success and other releases garnered mixed response. Closing Figures of Sankranthi Biggies (Share): 1) Yevadu: Rs 47.67 crore (Superhit). 2) Jilla: Rs 35.4 crore (Below Average). 3) Veeram: Rs 34.5 crore (Above Average). 4) 1 – Nenokkadine: Rs 29.6 crore (Disaster).
