Balayya Hurt! No More Politics!

Nandamuri Balakrishna is at a crucial juncture of his life wherein he has to take a call on his future. Two ways lie in front of him, politics or cinema.

Till sometime back, there was a strong buzz that Balayya would be entering active politics by contesting in the 2014 polls. But the latest developments reveal the Nandamuri star has reversed his gears on that.

It is heard that recently Balayya attended a wedding event in Krishna district and when few TDP folks tried to approach him, he shunned them away stating he doesn’t want anything to do with politics. Few others reveal Balayya has been keeping the party members and leaders away and reacting indifferently.

All this is being attributed to a grapevine that Balayya was keen to contest from Penamaluru or the place of his choice but the proposal got rejected by his ‘Viyyankudu’ Chandrababu Naidu. Buzz is that Naidu conveyed the message through his son Lokesh that such decisions are based on analysis and not as they please. This has reportedly hurt Balayya a lot and he has decided to stay away from politics.

While that is one side, another talk is that Chandrababu Naidu himself has literally kept Balayya far from the party, the reason being NBK's loose tongue. Incidentally, Naidu was planning to take junior NTR close for political reasons and strengthen the party but Balayya’s emotional outbursts are doing a big damage, as per TDP sources.

In another instance, when TDP leaders like Revanth Reddy created ruckus on Nagarjuna's land issues it is rumored that when Nag contacted Balayya to know why this is happening, he reportedly said “I don’t know. I have no link with politics.”

Sources say this infuriated Nag so much that he stopped speaking to Balayya. That way, with no reason, no logic and pure stubbornness Balayya seems to be moving forward and the strategic Naidu who is all brains got vexed with all this and gave a political checkmate to his Viyyankudu.
